Elam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Elam, 1166 East Dickinson, and Miss Mary Denise Holthaus (right center) was married to Edwin A. Collins, son of Mrs. Mary Collins of Clifton, in the Sacred Heart church of Oconee June 4 at 9 a. m. by Rev. M. J. McGovern. The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard C. Holthaus of Oconee, and members of the wedding party rhown here are all sisters of the .brides. They are Barbara (center), Genevieve, Marie, Joan, and Mrs. Waller Collins. Jerry, small brother of the brides, not in the picture, was ring bearer. Carlyn Elam and Walter E. Collins were best men. A breakfast for the immediate families followed ' in the Pana Country club, and there was a reception in the Holthaus home, where orange blossoms, red roses and ferns were used. After a wedding trip to Chicago, the Elams-will live in 820 East Prairie street. Mr. and Mrs. Collins are taking a wedding trip to Memphis and then will be at home in St. Louis. Both bridegrooms were recently discharged from service, and both brides attended St. Teresa high school here.
