1 1 1 i 'Alice Ambrose Is Awarded College Club Prize for Scholarship Millikin Senior Has Remarkable Record For A Grades. To Miss Alice Ambrose, for the last three and a half years student at Millikin university, goes the gift of fifty dollars, by College Club to the girl of superior abilSty who is partially or wholly self-: supporting Miss Ambrose's parents; are dead and she is self-supporting. For the last three and a half years; she has been a student at Millikin university and during that time has received all A grades in all subjects She majored in mathematics and is a strong minor in French, philosophy and English Miss Ambrose was president of the French Club and has been prominent in all scholastic activities. Although Miss Ambrose might belonged to a Greek letter sorority, she did not choose to. Each year members of College Club which is composed of women who are graduates of colleges and universities give $50 to a student selected by a special committee of members as the person who is most deserving of this gift 1926.

College Club awarded the gift to Miss Lucille Corder, freshman at Millikin, in 1927, Miss Alice Thompson, senior at the received the gift: Miss Ambrose is the fortunate girl this vear. 1928 She will, graduate with honors from the school this June Her home formerly was In Lexington, 111. The organizing of the congregation of the Trueblood Memorial U. B. church for its financial campaign for $20,000, has been completed and members of the committees will visit all homes in the pear future.

It is expected that this amount may be touched by March 18, when the church will be dedicated. A meeting of the committees was held Wednesday night and they will meet again Sunday. Sunday, Dr. B. Leach, district superintendent, will preach at both services.

DOCTOR TALKS ON NERVE DISORDERS Dr. Dean Stanley Addresses Grace M. E. Clinic, Explaining briefly the difference between organic and functional ous disorders, Dr. Dean Stanley confined his talk on "Nervousness" to the latter condition In the health clinic in Grace Methodist church Wednesday night.

He told of the numerous things a patient complained of when suffering from functional nervous disorders and spoke of the way in which a diagnosis was made of the person's condition and also of the treatment! given. Often certain symptoms parallel certain serious organic diseases and for that reason a complete examination must be made to ascertain the true condition of the patient "No two cases are the same." Dr Stanley said "And no two cases can be treated alike" At the close of his talk several questions were asked and answered. Mrs. Rollin Pease had charge of the prayer service preceding the health clinic using as her subject "The Per' sonality of Jesus" Miss Marian Pease sang solo at this service. First Baptist Supper Miss Irene Lyons of the Baptist school, Chicago, spoke at Training, of the fellowship supper which was held Wednesday evening in the First Baptist church with 125 persons in attendance Two large tables were reserved for girls of the World Wide Guild.

One hundred and fifty persons ate tended the prayer service which followed the supper. A meeting also was I held of the visitation committee on the union evangelistic services which will be held all next week by Rev H. Guy Campbell of Greencastle. in the First church. He is being brought to Decatur by the Decatur Ministerial Association.

Central Christian Supper. One hundred persons attended the supper and devotional program which was held Wednesday night in the Central Church of Christ.
