LOCAL WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2001 DECATUR, ILLINOIS MACON COUNTY Foster Foster Kerry Foster DECATUR Kerry W. Foster, 40, of Decatur died Tuesday (Feb. 13, 2001) in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour before Kerry Foster services. Burial of cremains will be in Fairlawn Cemetery with military rites by Macon County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kerry Foster Memorial Fund. Kerry was born Oct. 20, 1960, in Decatur, the son of Herbert Jr.

and Geraldine A. Whitney Foster. He was an electrician for Western Power and All Tri at Archer Daniels Midland member of Prairieland ABATE and Pheasants Forever. He is survived by his daughter, Allison K. DeMalteris and husband Damien of South Carolina; sons, Dylan E.

Foster and Justin W. Foster, both of Decatur; brother, Kelly D. Foster and wife Debbie of Norway, Iowa; sisters, Cathy Foreman and husband John of Decatur; Shelly Smith and husband Frank of Decatur; girlfriend, Dana Fisher of Decatur; nieces and nephews, Travis and Amy Foreman; Josh Smith; Brooke, Bailey and Austin Foster and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A special thank you to the many friends who helped with Kerry's care and showed great support to the family.

DECATUR Doris W. Kohr, 87, of Decatur died Friday (Feb. 9, 2001) in her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Kohr will be 1 p.m.

Saturday in Brintlinger's Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before services. Interment will be in Doris Kohr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or charity of choice. Mrs.

Kohr was born March 13, 1913, in Wayne County, the daughter of Elbert M. Emma M. Tibbs Warren. Mrs. Kohr was a life master of duplicate bridge and competed in local and national tournaments.

She was a grade school teacher in Warrensburg-Latham School District from September 1947 until her retirement. Mrs. Kohr also was a former member of AAUW and a member of South Side Country Club. She married Samuel Lewis Kohr on Aug. 18, 1932, in Seymour.

He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 1997. Surviving are her son, Charles W. Kohr and wife Pam of Decatur; grandson, Matthew Kohr and wife Melanie of Bakersfield, great-grandson, Jacob, of Bakersfield; granddaughter, Rebecca Kohr of Wheeling; sisters, Betty Pollock and husband Marshall of Decatur; and Jean Gast and husband Harry of St. Joseph, Mich.

Mrs. Kohr was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Burl Warren. DECATUR Dawn Jonette Bell, 45, Decatur, formerly of Cerro Gordo, died Monday (Feb. 12, 2001). Funeral Mass: noon Thursday in St.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethany Lutheran Church, Austin. Memorial services will be held in Illinois in the early summer, date still to be determined. Texas arrangements are by Oaks Funeral Home, Austin. Dean was born on Nov.

1, 1942, in Warrensburg, son of Louis and Katherine Clark. He spent his childhood in Findlay with his family. He studied to become a master electrician and worked in this field in various areas of the country until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). In 1995, Dean moved to Austin, Texas, and became employed with HEB, a local grocery store, with the customer service department and enjoyed his time working there, meeting and talking with various people.

He also spent his free moments visiting his grandchildren, traveling throughout the hill country in Texas and seeing the small towns of the area. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laurie Clark and grandchild, Cameron Avery, all of Austin; brothers and sisters, Henry Clark, Hazel Clark, Larry Clark, Roy Clark, Irene Clark and Glen Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Kitty Lu "Linda" Clark, Anna Clark, Idalene Clark and Marsha Clark. Bankson DECATUR Florence P. Bankson, 97, Decatur, died Monday (Feb.

Sunday (Feb. 11, 2001) in Fair Havens Christian Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in J.J. Moran Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will John Peck be in Graceland Cemetery. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is in charge of the arrangements. John was born Aug. 15, 1904, in Decatur, the son of Oliver Cromwell Peck and Happy.

Churchill Peck. He retired in 1969 from Linn Scruggs in Decatur. He lived his whole life in Decatur. He was a member of Unity Church of Decatur. He was also a member of Audubon Society and Rockhounds of Decatur.

Surviving are his nieces, Marjorie Irons of Elkhart, Ind. and Virginia Allison of Valparaiso, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harley; sisters, Edith, Mildred and Fanny. Miley DECATUR Dorothy Darlene Miley, 57, Decatur, died Friday (Feb. 9, 2001) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Cremation rites were accorded. Darlene was born on Dec. 23, 1943, in Decatur, daughter of Hilbert H. and Dorothy G. Hale Allen.

She married William M. Miley on Dec. 13, 1983. He preceded her in death. Surviving are her mother, Dorothy; sons, Jack Miley of Decatur; James Miley of Oregon; daughters, Angel Miley of Decatur; Linda Roberts of Oregon; seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father. DECATUR Elsie I B. Pate, 86, Decatur died Sunday (Feb. 11, 2001). Private family services will be held, with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

Arrangements by: Funeral Home. Memorials: Macon County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital. CENTRAL ILLINOIS Fisher SHELBYVILLE Ruth E. Fisher, 97, of Blacksburg, formerly of Shelbyville, died' Thursday (Feb.

8, 2001) in Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday in Howe Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Rev. Bruce Owens officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Mrs. Fisher was born on Dec. 24, 1903, in Shelby County, daughter of Claude S. and Rhoda E.

Anderson Woods. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and lived in Shelbyville until after the death of her husband, when she moved to Blacksburg to live with her daughter. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Shelbyville. She married Ross W.

Fisher on Feb. 17, 1923. He died on May 22, 1982. Surviving are her daughter, La Vonne D. Rosenberg of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Marsha A.

McNatt of Plano, Texas; Theresa M. Flinchum of Blacksburg; great-grandsons, Michael S. Davison of San Francisco, Robert B. Gallana of Bryan, Texas; Talmadge M. Flinchum of Blacksburg; daughter, Regina M.

Sutphin of Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Lt. Gene M. Fisher, a fighter pilot killed in action in World War II, April 1945, in Italy; brothers, Paul, Dean, Thomas, Hal and Jesse Woods; sister, Dorothy Richards. Fleming MATTOON Mary Ellen Fleming, 82, Mattoon, owner of The Loom, died Monday (Feb.
