Maschhoff was born in Hoyleton on Dec. 25, 1906, the daughter of Charles and Emma Lampe Schaeffer. She was a homemaker, a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hoyleton, and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Decatur. She married Albert Maschhoff on April 7, 1929.

He preceded her in death in 1982. Surviving are her son, Howard Maschhoff and wife June of Hoyleton; daughter, Helen E. Corcoran and husband Rene of Decatur; brother, Albert Schaeffer of Cen-tralia; sisters, Rosina Rae of Royal Oak, Linda Schier-becker of Hoffman; Adele Cerutti of DeKalb; grandchildren, Donna Steinkamp, Brenda Bierman, Brian Maschhoff, 'Mary Langer and Sarah Corcoran; four greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Vernon, brothers, Paul, Edwin, Alvin and William, and sister, Laura. Palmer MACON William Everett Palmer, 89, of Macon died 8:38 p.m.

Mrs. Allsop was born in Pana on Jan. 31, 1957, the daughter of Ronald W. and Evelyn Logsdon Bry-son. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Jason Allsop of Mount Zion; mother, Evelyn Cole and husband Robert of Mount Zion; brother, Jon Bryson and wife Debbie of Casner; sister, Pennie Davis and husband Timothy of Edwards, grandmother, Opal Beccue of Tower Hill; aunts and uncles, Dorie and Walt Washburn, Carolyn and Gene Cole and Terry Beccue, all of Tower Hill; Darrel and Beverly Logsdon of Wichita, several nieces and nephews. He married Ruth Woolfe on Sept. 6, 1933. Surviving are his wife; sons, Dan Palmer; Jack Palmer and wife Judy; daughter, Donna Ka-waski and husband Wilbur; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Hill was born in Havana on July 3, 1908, the daughter of John and Hazel Durdy Hughes. She grew up in Champaign, graduating from Champaign High School and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed bird watching and making beautiful dolls for her grandchildren. She married Wilson D.

Hill in Champaign on June 12, 1930. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1991. Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Duffy and Mrs. Jeff (Susan) Austin, both of Hamlin Lake, sons, Robert Hill of Grand Rapids, John Hill and wife Linda of LaGrange; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Judy Murphy in 1985, and brother, Bernard Hughes.

degree from Illinois State University and her M.S. degree from the University of Illinois. She was a three-year Navy veteran, a 27-year veteran of Naval Reserves, a member of the Macon County Historical Society, Decatur Genealogical Society, first editor of State Genealogical Society for 12 years and was chairman of the Oglesby Mansion Restoration. Surviving is her sister, Norma M. Jones of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles F. Montgomery. Miss Montgomery will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. Tucker DECATUR Jewel V. Tucker, 86, Decatur, died Tuesday (March 10, 1998).
