Burial will be in Funkhouser Cemetery. Mr. Manuel was born in Effingham County, son of Taylor and Lydia Manuel. He married Flossie Bricker in 1919- Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. David (Arlene) Crandall of Spokane, Mrs.

Stanley (Norma) Durbin of Tucson. Regina Manuel of Effingham: six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Three brothers, one sister and one grandchild preceded him in death. More obituaries. Page 7.

Kramer Leslie Kramer, 67, of Palmer died 8:45 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Shafer Funeral Home, Taylor-ville, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery, Taylorville. Mr. Kramer was born in Bear Creek Township, Christian County, son of Gro-ver and Stella Kramer. He was a farmer, member of Springfield Consistory, United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge, Morrisonville.

He married Bertha Shafer in 1937. Surviving are his wife; son, Donald of Palmer; sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Dorothy) Miller and Ruth Kramer, both of Taylorville; Mrs. Perry (Lela) Hinden of Decatur; three grandchildren. Manuel Walter Manuel, 82, of Effingham died 4 p.m.

She married Clessie Brazle in 1916. He died in 1959. Charles Clifford (Grace O'Laughlin) Galbreath, 78, of 1328 E. Cantrell St. died 1:35 a.m. Friday (Oct. 26, 1979) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Dawson and Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Burial will be in Atwood Cemetery, At wood. Memorial: Central Christian Church. Mrs.

Galbreath was born in Atwood, daughter of James and Florence O'Laughlin. She was a retired Decatur School District teacher and was a member of Central Christian Church and Retired Teachers Association. She married Charles Clifford Galbreath in 1922. He died in 1977. Surviving are daughters, Mrs.

Elmo died 11:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 26, 1979) in St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Kull Funeral Home, Altamont.

Mr. Duckwitz was born in West Township, Effingham County, son of Otto and Emily Duckwitz. He was a farmer and member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Altamont. He married Hilda Winter in 1938. Surviving are his wife; son, Rollin of rural St.

Elmo; daughter, Mrs. Don (Ruth Ann) Thornton of Springfield; brother, Raymond of Altamont; sister, Gertrude Schmidt of Altamont; six grandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. Edwards John T. Edwards, 79, of Salem died 3:15 a.m.

Friday (Oct. 26, 1979) in Salem Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home, Salem, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia. Mr. Edwards was born in Xenia, son of Eber and Elizabeth Edwards. He married Thelma Kretzer, who died in 1976. Emmons Charles Emmons, 76, of Charleston died 6 p.m.

Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in his home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Mound Cemetery, Charleston, with visitation after 9 a.m. Saturday at Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston.

Mr. Emmons was born in Brighton, son of Charles and Lena Emmons. Surviving are half brother, James Heritage of Charleston; half sister, Ada Heritage of Charleston. Furr Glenn G. Furr, 74, of Findlay died 6:25 a.m.

Friday (Oct. 26, 1979) in Shelby County Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Lockart Sons Funeral Home, Findlay, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in Findlay Cemetery. Memorials: American Heart Association. Mr. Furr was born in Shelby County, son of William G. and Christina Furr.

He was a farmer and member of Shelbyville Christian Church. He married Alma Small in 1926. Hild, 72, of Lincoln died 2:45 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in his home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Lincoln Christian Church.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Fricke Funeral Home, Lincoln, with 8 p.m. Masonic services. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Memorials: Lincoln Christian Church, Lincoln Christian College or Christian Nursing Home in Lincoln.

Mr. Hild was born in Illiopolis, son of Jacob O. and Fredericka Hild. He was a member and elder of Lincoln Christian Church and formerly served as a deacon and church board member. He also was a member of Lincoln Masonic Lodge 210, Mount Pulaski Commandery 39, Lincoln Council, Bloomington Consistory, Springfield Ansar Shrine and American Association of Retired Persons.

He married Jessie Louise Roth-well in 1928. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. John (Charlene) Bowers and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Shanle, both of Lincoln, seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. One son, two brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

Hill Howard W. Hill, 74, of Steger, formerly of Shelbyville, died 12:40 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn. Funeral services will be 1 p.m.

Sunday in Lockart Sons Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Hoover Albert J. Hoover, 94, of Flora died 10:30 p.m.

Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Ind. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, with visitation 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. Mr. Hoover was born in Idana, son of Joseph Alfonso and Catherine Hoover. He was a retired street car operator for the City of St. Louis.

He married Pansy Hagen. Surviving are his wife; stepsons, Eugene W. Husted of Florissant, Jack N. Husted of St. Charles, Kenneth Husted of St.

Petersburg, four stepgrandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren. Keach Guy E. Keach, 84, of rural Hidalgo died 3:05 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in Resthaven Nursing Home, Newton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Barkley Funeral Home, Greenup. No visitation. Burial will be in West-lawn Cemetery, Newton. He was born in Champaign County, son of Louis and Eva Keach.

He was a retired farmer and a World War I veteran. He married Lelia Ferguson in 1926. She died in 1973. Surviving are sons, Kenneth of Hidalgo; Warren; daughter, Barbara Bradley of Albuquerque, N.M.; brother, Orran of Hidalgo; sisters, Faye Hall of Casey; Vernice Perry of Kansas; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Koger Robert L. Koger, 72, of Latham died 2:26 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m.

Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery. Mr. Koger was born in Powersburg, son of Isaac and Fronia Koger.

He retired in 1971 from Myers Industries. He married Nannie E. Sexton in 1930. Surviving are his wife; sons, Robert of Omaha, Ray of Dayton, Ohio; Joe of Rochester, Earl of Decatur; Glenn of Uniontown, Ohio; daughters, Jean and Joyce Koger, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Hammel, Mrs.

Mrs. Bottom was born in Edgar County, daughter of John and Myrtle Lilley. She was a retired schoolteacher, member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church and Retired Schoolteachers Association. She married Robert Bottom in 1943. Surviving are her husband; sons, John W.

of Hume; Charles of Westville; daughters, Muscott of Mattoon; brother, John Lilley of Danville, sisters, Roberta Ziegler of Mattoon; one grandchild. Colwell Mrs. Oscar (Vernie Kincaid) Colweli, 69, of Newton died 11:30 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson.

Lourash was born in Long Creek, son of John and Susan Lourash. He was a retired farmer and operated the elevator at Millikin National Bank for 20 years. He married Nettie G. Jenkins in 1911. She died in 1945.

Surviving are sons, Vernie of Decatur; Delmar of Oreana; daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Annie) Scanlon of Oreana; brothers, Hobert of Decatur; Harold of Warrensburg; sister, Grace Jenkins of Boody; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Poundstone Herbert L. Poundstone, 77, of Decatur died 12:35 p.m.

Thursday (Oct. 25, 1979) in St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation 4 to 7 p.m.

Sunday. Mr. Poundstone was born in Milmine, son of Ora and Stella Poundstone. He was a retired Wabash Railroad signal supervisor and was a member of First Congregational Church. He married Blanche Zink.

Surviving are his wife; daughters, Eleanor Van Natta of West Lafayette, Mrs. William C. (Loretta) See of Belleville; brothers, Judson, of Bull Shoals, Virgil of Sumner, Jim, address unknown; sister, Mrs. Arthur (Susie) Despain of Erie; six grandchildren.
