She was a member of Mecca Shrine 53, White Shrine of Jerusalem, was past matron of the Mecca Shrine, and worked for the Bement Register from 1903 to 1907. She married Arthur Cain in 1908.

He preceded her in death. Surviving is sister, Mrs. Bertha M. Barr of Decatur. One brother preceded her in death.

DUNCAN Mrs. Jesse (Julia N. Bas-com) Duncan, 79, formerly of the Hotel Orlando, died 9:05 a.m. Sunday in Woodland Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m.
