Sunday, Sept. 15, in the American Legion in Ramsey. Mr. Denton and Velma Hill were married Aug. 14, 1946, in Vandalia.

He is retired from Essex International Wire. They are the parents of Connie Fleming, Michael Denton and Mark Denton, all of Ramsey, and Merle Denton of Brownstown. They have 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ralph and Leona Collins celebrating 72nd anniversary DECATUR Mr. and Mrs.

Ralph "Dorr" Collins of East Peoria, formerly of Decatur, will celebrate their 72nd wedding anniversary. Decatur natives Ralph Collins and Leona Overman were married Sept. 11, 1924, in Decatur. Like his father, Ralph is an artist, working in oils and pen and ink. He first went to work for A.E. Staley Mfg. then joined Caterpillar Inc. in Decatur.
