Window Smashing Threatened in War Over Nickel Beer Chicago AP Threats to break restaurant windows if their owners served nicked beer had been reported to the state's attorney's office Tuesday by George Patris, secretary of the Restaurateurs of Illinois. New Cushioned Seats for Lincoln Theater Don Hoobler, manager of Lincoln theater, has received word from Publix theater headquarters in Chicago that the Lincoln is to have new seats installed before Sept. 1. A trial seat was installed about ten days ago in the theater, and won such favor that a request was made for entire refurnishing of all seats with new deep cushions. Luella Smith Leach, wife of Joseph Leach, died Saturday here at the home of her brother, George Smith, of dropsy. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the Baptist church by the Rev. Solie Sprague. Burial was in South Hill cemetery. Mrs.
