Powell and her son Oskar of San Antonio, Miss Irving To Marry Sept. 15 Wedding to Take Place At 4 p. m. in Congregational Church. Invitations were issued Saturday by Mrs.

E. P. Irving for the marriage of her daughter, Mary Frances Irving, to William Lynn Hendrickson of Riverton, N. J. The ceremony will take place Saturday, Sept.

15, at 4 p.m. in First Congregational church. A wedding reception will be given in the Irving home, 2 Millikin Place. following the wedding service. Attendants will be announced later.

Mr. Hendrickson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A.

Hendrickson of Riverton, N. and is a broker in Philadelphia. Mr. and Mrs. F.

L. Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Edward B. Evans and son, Edward, Jr.

have returned from Chicago where they passed several days. Mrs. C. A. Ewing and daughter, Miss Mary Idelle Ewing, of Chicago are visiting Miss M.

Ewing for several days. Mrs. H. H. Myers and daughter, Marilyn, returned Saturday after two months of vacationing in the north and in Chicago.

They passed most of the time at Epworth Heights in Ludington, and have' been in Chicago for several days where they attended a Century of Progress. Miss Lorraine Spiess has gone to Chicago to pass the week end visiting her fiance. Robert Woodall Bartlett, and his father, Robert W. Bartlett. Miss Lenore Chodat has returned from Chicago where she visited a few days and went from there on the S.

S. South America to Mackinac Island for a short vacation. The first person Miss Chodat saw on the boat was William Requarth of Decatur. He has been purser's clerk this summer on the South America, which makes a seven day cruise from Chicago to Buffalo, N. Y.

Miss Chodat stayed at the Grand hotel at Mackinac Island, and returned to Chicago on the S. S. North America. A number of family picnics and Informal get-togethers of the people have been given this week for Miss Jean Jenkins of Chicago who is visiting Mrs. W.

A. Hammer and family. Last Tuesday the Hammers had a moonlight picnic on Lake Decatur for Miss Jenkins. Mrs. George Curtiss and family of Stockton are passing the day with Mrs.

Curtiss' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Curtis, 447 West Main street. Dr. Will Chenoweth, 437 West William street, left Saturday for Mackinac Island where he will pass his vacation.
