and Mrs. Leo Boyer, Rural Route 4, recently received the Purple Heart in Japan for wounds received in action in Korea. Cpl. Boyer entered service in July, 1950 and was assigned as a medical aidman with an airborne regiment in Korea in June, 1951. He is a graduate of Macon High School.

re Martin H. Henry Navy Lt. (jg) Martin H. Henry recently received his membership scroll in the unique and exclusive "Century Club" which is made up of Navy Hurricane Hunters." The scroll was presented by the commanding officer of Weather Squadron 2 at Jacksonville, Naval Air Station. Lt.

Henry qualified for the membership when he flew through a hurricane that had reached a velocity of 100 knots in Atlantic waters. Lt. Henry is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.

R. Henry, Rural Route 6. His wife Jeanette, lives in Argenta. Before he entered the Navy in 1948 he graduated from Mt. Zion High School and attended Millikin University.

James R. Smallwood Seaman James R. Smallwood is serving with the security division at the Pensacola, Naval Air Station. A son of Mr. and Mrs.
