State police arrested Moore and William Davidson when they found them driving recklessly between Decatur and Springfield. Moore pleaded guilty to a charge of driving -while drunk and was fined 100 and costs and sentenced to ten days in jail by County Judge J. H.

McCoy. Davidson pleaded guilty to a drunkenness charge and was fined $5 and costs. Unable to pay his fine, Davidson joined Moore in jail. Office Jan. 1.
