Walks. Of Life All Women Are Employed At Sangamon Ordnance Plant Herewith are cited some authentic cases-typical examples of women who have joined with Sangamon Ordnance to shorten the war and save lives. These examples are a cross section of thousands of women employed at Sangamon Ordnance, names of the women whose cases are cited are withheld because of their desire to avoid publicity. SALES LADY HOUSEWIFE jlISS formerly a sales lady whose fianct it in the Armed Services, regarded it her duty to' help supply the boys at the front with ammunition to fight the enemy. She is doing a splendid job hen.

enjoys her work immensely and glories in the satisfaction of contributing directly to the war effort. Mrs has 3 children, her husband it serving in the Armed Forces. She is employed on one of the Production Lines. Her three children are well taken care of in the Supervised Nursery, operated at Sangamon Ordnance. Many other children of mothers ivho ivork here are safely cared for during the day.

She feels that she is literally fighting side by side with her loved ones in helping to get out the ammunition so urgently needed on all the fighting fronts. She felt that such an occupation would better fulfill her desire to contribute directly to the War Effort. She invests her entire salary in War Bonds a further contribution toward winning the war. Wives of Service Men SCHOOL TEACHER Hundreds of wives of the men who are serving in the Armed Forces are gainfully employed at Sangamon Ordnance. In addition to good wages, they art happy in the knowledge that their efforts are hasten ing the day of Victory and the day their men Will tome marching home. Many school teachers are employed at Sangamon Ordnance during their vacation periods.

An unusually patriotic' example is Mrs who, despite her age of 60 years, is doing a remarkable job in our production division.
