REVIEW Sunday, June 16, 1946. SOCIETY DECATUR SUNDAY HERALD AND Miss Thompson Saturday Bride Miss Margie Helen Thompson wore satin trimmed in net ruffles designed and made by her mother, for her marriage to Jack D. Yoder Saturday at 9 a. m. in St.

Thomas Catholic church. Rev. Andrew Smith officiated before 350 guests. The bride's veil was trimmed with orange blossoms and she cara white orchid, white roses. Her honor, Mrs.

William Lafferty Champaign, of wore lime green chiffon with a headband of yellow daisies and carried a sheaf of yellow daisies, and talisman roses, Mrs. R. G. Bramel of Champaign and Miss Dorothy Yeoman Bearsdale were attendants and Joan Sheehy was junior bridesmaid in American Beauty chiffon with headbands of white daisies. They carried sheafs of white daisies and delphinium.

Claude Yoder was best man and ushers were Charles W. Yoder, a William Yoder, and Donald Thompson. Mrs. Leo Hayes was organist and vocalists were Mrs. Lauren Shaw, Miss Sally Hayes, and Roger Lowe.

A breakfast was served 25 guests in pine room of St. Nicholas hotel after the ceremony and a reception followed for 250 in Staley clubhouse. Miss Jane Thornton, Miss Sally Hayes, and Miss Frances Terikey of St. Louis assisted. The bride is the daughter of and Mrs.W.

H. Thompson, 322 East Center. She attended Decatur Secretarial school and is in the division at Staley's. The bridegroom is the son of Charles W. Yoder, 1637 East Wood, and the late Mrs.

Yoder, and is now with Johns Manville company after two years with the army in European theater. He is a member of Knights of Columbus. After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple will be home June 23 in 1038 East Wood. Mary Beyers and Herman Holthaus Marry Miss Mary Margaret Byers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Wilford C. Beyers, west of Pana, and Arthur Holthaus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbrother. Lyle and Dale Beyers served as ushers.

Following the wedding there was a reception at the home of the bride's parents. In the evening there was a reception dance in the Community House in Pana. The bride, until recently, has been in the U. S. Civil Service, employed by the railroad retirement board.

Both carried bouquets of red roses. The bridegroom's attendants were Cyril Beyers, brother of the bride, and Bernard Holthaus, his Weldon Couple Has 40th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. W. T.

Henry Jockisch, 1124 West Decatur street, who will observe her 90th birthday anniversary Monday, is being honored today with family dinner in the home of her son Albert in Blue Mound. Her other children who will attend with their families are Samuel and David of near Boody, and Mrs. Linley Hurtt, 1130 West Forest avenue. Mrs. Jockisch has five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

25th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Dave Peer, 3900 East Cerro Gordo, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today with a family dinner. Their two married sons Eugene and Robert and their families, and their other three children Helen, Donald and Shirley will be at home for the affair. Duvall Family Having First Reunion in 25 Years The seven brothers and sister of the Duvall family are having their first reunion in 25 years, climaxing it with a dinner for 15 Sunday afternoon in South Side Country club. The group had picnic supper in Nelson park last night. Out of town guests are dividing their time between the home of Mrs. John C. Kuhns, the former Anne Duvall, 1492 West Decatur street, and the home in which they were all raised in Argenta.

The oldest brother, J. W. Duvall and his family, now live there. Miss Dorothy and Miss Nell Duvall arrived in Chicago from Los Dorothy Jean Baldwin To Marry Saturday Miss Dorothy Jean Baldwin and Robert W. Sharp are to be married next Saturday at 8 p.

m. in First Christian church by Rev. W. T. Nichols.

She is the daughter of Mrs. Marie Baldwin, 362 East Eldorado, and Everett Baldwin, 714. West Harrison, and her fiance is the son of E. G. Sharp, 114 East King.

Miss Dantzell Tarr will be Miss Baldwin's only attendant, and Owen Lebo will be best man. Ushers will be Robert Whiteman and Dale Berry. Miss Baldwin is a comptometer operator with Standard Oil company, and her fiance is with Post and Sons jewelers. Angeles, last week and were met by Miss Fae Duvall, head of the home economics department of Proviso high school in Maywood, and Mr. and Mrs.

Russell Duvall of Chicago. They have all come down for the reunion. Wilbur "Deck" Duvall, an executive for the Otis elevator company in New York, arrived by plane Saturday. Also joining the family group are Mr. and Mrs.

Acton Saturday morning at 11:30 o'clock in First Methodist church before the immediate families and close friends. Rev. Mrs. Acton is a graduate of Millikin university and has done graduate work at University of Chi- McMurty and was a school teacher in McLean county. Mr. Baker was an electrician but after their marriage they moved to the farm six miles southwest of Weldon where they have lived for 40 years.
