Gladys Doane He is deceased. Mrs. Doane is the mother of Edwin Doane and Maurice Doane, both of Decatur, and Marguerite Betzer of Homosassa, Fla. She has two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Esther Ross, 86 Esther L.

Ross of Sullivan, formerly of Decatur, celebrated her 86th birthday. She was born July 23, 1902, in Montgomery County. She married Albert Ross on Dec. 31, 1933. He is deceased.

Her son, David Ross, is deceased. Madelyn Jent, 80 Madelyn Hosier Jent of Lovington will celebrate her 80th birthday with a family party Sunday. She was born Aug. 11, 1908, in Watson. She married Sam Jent.

Wise and Louise Barger were married Aug. 21, 1938, in Macon. He farmed in Macon and is retired from Sunshine Dairy and Country Companies, both of Decatur. She is a retired Decatur School District teacher. She also taught in Dalton City and at Center and Middlesworth schools.
