Money More Scarce Than Hair- -Britain Abolishes Free Wigs London, April 8 (AP) The House of Commons decided tonight Britain's government needs money more than Britons need free hair. It voted 292 to 271 to charge two pounds 10 shillings ($7.) for each wig handed out by the Winegarner High in 24th Senate Contest E. H.

Winegarner was running ahead last night in the 24th senatorial district's contest for the Democratic Senate nomination and Paul Stone of Sullivan was -ahead by two to one in the House contest on the Democratic ticket. Winegarner had won 461 votes against his opponent, Mattis Sches. ley III, who won 290 votes. Stone had votes against 1,026 for Leo Pfeffer of Seymour, his opponent. A total of 19 of 125 precincts had been counted.

In the Republican nomination race, with 12 of 125 precincts reporting, Charles Clabaugh of Champaign and Ora D. Dillavou of Urbana were well ahead in the eral Assembly contest. Clabaugh had 1,220 votes and Dillavou had 971. C. Van Delinder was losing the twoout-of-three choice with 209 votes.

RALPH SCHULTZ 53 DIES IN HOSPITAL Mrs. Nellie Mae Schultz, 44, of 3254 Fulton avenue, died at 4:30 p. yesterday in St. Mary's hospital. She had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Schultz was born Aug. 23, 1907, in Harrodsburg, a daughter of Mark and Bettie Gabhart. She was married to Ralph E. Schultz on Dec.

18, 1928, in Decatur. She came to Decatur 30 years ago from Arthur and was employed by Linn Scruggs Co. until six years ago. Mrs. Schultz was a member of Antioch Christian church, the Order of Eastern Star and the White Shrine.

She leaves her husband, two sons, Lee, at home; and Ralph with the marines in San Diego, two grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence, Richmond, and Stanley, Detroit, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Sunderland, Decatur. The body is in the J. J. Moran Sons' funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m.
