Some quite difficult work has been taken up this year such as the making of jackets, children's dresses and lingerie. The garments are made in miniature designs, suitable for doll clothing, but they are finished as completely as larger garments should be.

Machine-made articles made by the high school classes taught by Miss Ethel Webb, show much skill, as also 4o the articles made by the lower grade pupils. The knife-work exhibit by Miss Can-fleld's classes is a revelation as to the possibilities of the knife when skilfully handled. The -drawings, both in Miss Way's tod Miss Spencer's classes are much admired. Also the applird designs and pressed leather work. The latter has been taken up by Miss Spencer's high school pupils this year for the first time and some beautiful belts and card cases have been made.

The pupils of the Riverside and the Jasper street schools visited the exhibition Thursday afternoon at the dose of school, accompli ni-d by their teachers. The exhibit will be open this afternoon and until 9 o'clock tonight and the public is invited to attend. It fice.
